Nikon D70: flash adapter hot shoe (hotshoe) to PC sync

This adapter fits into the camera hotshoe and enables you to use external flashguns / strobes or studio flash units which connect to the camera via a PC socket. The photograph shows my D70 connected to a Metz 45CT just as an example.

The adapter provides three PC sockets - two female and one male. A test / open flash button is also provided.

Please note that this adapter does not support TTL flash functions. Set your camera to 'AA' or 'manual' using camera function number 19 to select the flash mode and it works just fine. Flashguns with a trigger voltage above 250V should not be used.
